Established in 1979 by renowned viticulturist David Paxton, Paxton Wines is a family-owned winery located in McLaren Vale, South Australia. The estate spans approximately 140 hectares across seven vineyards, all certified organic and biodynamic since 2011. Paxton's commitment to sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention winemaking allows the natural character of the fruit to shine through. Their diverse portfolio includes varietals such as Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Tempranillo, with the flagship EJ Shiraz sourced from vines planted in 1887 at the historic Thomas Block vineyard.
